Help us ensure all Mississippi kids have enough food during the summer months!

Summer is the hungriest time of year for families that rely on free and reduced-price meals during the school year. To help, Congress created the SUN Bucks program (formerly known as Summer EBT) that provides $120 per school-age child in grocery-buying benefits to low-income families. Mississippi is one of just a handful states that has not implemented the program. But we have a chance to change that!

Mississippi is closer than ever to addressing food insecurity throughout our state. Click below add your name to growing list of Mississippians who believe it is time for Mississippi to opt-into a SUN Bucks program and create stronger, local food systems. Support the Mississippi Farm and Food Security Act of 2026 (HB 1367) to help strengthen our nutrition programs and increase access to quality food for all Mississippi children.
